Ohayou! Spank

Spank is a stray dog whose owner went missing on the high seas. While awaiting his return, Spank spends every day roaming around the beach. One day, he meets Aiko Morimura, a junior high school student, whose father also went missing on a yacht 10 years ago. While her mother is working as a fashion designer in Paris, Aiko is left in the care of her uncle, Mr. Fujinami. Feeling abandoned, Aiko can't shake the feeling that her father is still alive. When she loses her pet dog, a good-bye present from her mother, she is left totally devastated. Aiko then turns to Spank, and his clumsy big-hearted personality begins to gradually bring light back to her life again.
